It's totally appropriate that we're dancing to hatikva, right? If you can't tell what the other song is, it's called "kan noladeti"...we love that song too. Can you tell?

Tu B'Shvat Higiya!
Tu B'shvat came and we were all so excited to do our netiyot. We met so many people who came out to plant the over a million trees in Israel on Tu B'Shvat. We planted five atzei brosh, a type of evergreen. Achinoam's was the size of her! We had to explain to her that trees are not for eating...
These are pictures of everyone next to their trees:
Mr. G singing all the way there and back...

Miss T thrilled about all of this...

Ima planting...

The tree is as tall as Achinoam!

Abba planting!

Hashem, please bring rain!
Today it rained a lot. We were very happy, but it would have been better if we were not outside when it happened. Also, the hail was a little scary. We decided we only like rain and rainbows, not hail and thunder.

Achinoam 7 weeks
Incoming homecoming!
Abba came back today and we made him some pictures with finger paint. We were covered in it yesterday. Luckily he wasn't home to see the mess we made. We had fun, though I would have liked to paint my whole body, not just my hands. Thanks Ima for letting us make a huge mess!! Abba loved our signs!

The Fireman and the Fairy Princess: A True Story
I don't usually use my own voice on this blog, but I just want to say that blogging these days has been very therapeutic for me, helping me let off steam since Rafi's been away in miluim (for what seems to be forever- 6 days and counting). So thanks for putting up with me here and here. Please comment on either site to tell me you're out there. I also like the personal emails. Makes me feel loved and less lonely:)
Anyway, to the story. Once upon a time there was a Fire Man named Mr. Bill (he chose this name himself)and a fairy princess named Miss T.

Mr. Bill really didn't want Miss T to dress up as a fireman, so he took her costume out for her and literally dressed her in it.

She was ok with it until she realized he had a cell phone and an ax and she only had a magic wand. So she bopped him over the head with the wand.

which did get his attention but didn't get her the ax. Oh well, they still lived happily ever after.
